About Travis Jecker

Travis was always on an adventure, whether it was being a husband, stay at home Dad, soccer coach, volunteer firefighter, or motocross enthusiast.

As a family man, he was on a mission for anything exciting whether it was on the water, in the dirt, or tearing across snow and his family and friends were usually along for the ride. Unfortunately, Travis' adventures came to an abrupt halt in March 2005 when he sustained a C5, C6 spinal cord injury from a dirt bike accident in Tehachapi with family and friends. After his injury, Travis realized his adventure options were limited and time-consuming to coordinate. With this new realization, it became his dream to create a nonprofit centered around coordinating and providing fun, relaxing, and adventurous experiences for wheelchair users and their families. Travis believes life should be lived to the fullest and everyone should be able to experience "the positive ride of life."
